What do you guys use to get the brown scum line off your boats and the brown stain the
that is in the live wells that Lake Fork leaves in them.

I wipe down w/Bass Boat Saver and the ring, water spots, tobacco stains, road grime...come off the fiberglass real easy and leaves a slick waxed surface on the fiberglass. Being an under-achieving under-thinker I don't pay much attention to the inside of my livewell.:-)

This. The best product out there. My boat has rings only because I am really lazy.

I would do vinegar in your live well, then run fresh water after sitting for awhile

Check youtube for the scum line...plenty of videos on there

Don't use soap in the livewells. That's a horrible idea. There's tons of stuff you can use that is less harmful to the wells and potentially to the fish in there.

I had a scum line on my boat as well and used a magic eraser and it's the best cleaning tool I've ever seen. The bottom of my 05 skeeter has always had a brown tint to it and now is snow white. It's simply the best thing I've ever used

I agree on the Magic Eraser doing a good job with no apparent abrasive effect. I use Bassboat Saver to reduce the rate of build-up, and it seems to make the clean-up easier.

On the discussion about what's safe for the livewell: An article in a current magazine has experts recommending 1/2 cup bleach in 1 gallon of water for cleaning/disinfecting livewells (followed by thorough rinsing). If you never put anything other than water in there, you may not be doing fish any favor.
