Where the heck have you been?

I assume this is a trick question, right?

I don't know how many fish that I have caught that weighed 2 pounds.

I know that 64 fish have weighed 2 pounds and bigger.

Decided to take some time off from fishing for awhile, got the hots to call in a few Whitetails.

With that said when we going again?

Man I was just trying to give you credit. You've caught more fish over two pounds in one year than I've caught in my entire 28 years. You're the best I know, and yeah, I'm ready to go again. Just had a few too many distractions this fall.

I can't this weekend though, I've got an itchy trigger finger and my instincts are saying "woods" not "water" right now.

I hear ya. Thinking my instincts said to go hit the woods tomorrow and I will. Hope to get it done by night fall or before Saturday anyways, that field is flooded again and loaded with ducks, so you know you can’t just let them alone.

Is your arm healed up after our last trip? Dang sure didn’t mean for you to get injured, muscle up and call me when you are up to another weight lifting contest.

HA! You still needing me to push you around in that wheel chair? Some of us younger folks heel a little faster than the older generation.

Did you say loaded with ducks? Name the time and place man.

Older generation? What you meant to say is seasoned.

Wasn't that you who was balled up in the fetal position when those 7 bucks came running in on a string? What about when you set up in that brush, doe jumped the fence in the pasture, landing in your lap! I can still hear the blood curdling scream you let out. No wonder you shot her.

Ha! Good times.

I will send you some pics of the Ranch Slam, taking no prisoners.

What do you want to bet on? Biggest, most points, longest curls, heaviest yote, cat, pig, turkey?

I'm pretty sure I'm closer to Kirks age. Respect your elders Lane.

I don't need a wheelchair yet, but if you want to roll me out to my deer stand, I will take the offer.

Yeah I was balled up in the fetal position when those bucks came in. I was laughing so hard at you adjusting your bifocals and trying to hold your gun at the same time smile. As far as that blood curdling scream goes, I don't know what was in the dark behind me, up on that hill, but it wasn't cool. I've spent many a thousand of hours walking in the woods at night, and I've never heard anything like that.

As far as wagers go, I'm putting my money on big daddy buck and a bobcat for you this weekend.

Na, it's likely I won't be mad at them when I get out there and just take a few pictures of them, calling them in is good enough for me anyways.

Now back to fishing.

Is your arm out of the cast or not? Ha!
