Knuckles and I managed to get out Saturday morning for a quick fishing trip on the Brazos River. I absolutely love fishing with my son and to see him set personal best records right after one another on a 5 wt TFO rod is priceless. Read and see for yourself; we have a YouTube video of the morning on our blog site along with the write up.

By the way, several guys from the forum check out our posts, show some love and subscribe to the blog! smile

Tight lines.

Thanks guys! Knuckles and I started seriously fishing about a one year ago and have been way over due for a banner day like this, not only quantity but size! He cracked me up several times 1) when the fish snapped off....I know that frustration all to well and 2) after fighting that monster for well over 10 minutes and to turn around to see Knuckles with his hands on his knees, trying to catch a break! LOL. Great stuff for a father and son!

I'm not familiar with PK. Is this the Morris Sheppard dam?

Some great fish. I was there last Thursday and I am glad to see they flushed the river. Saw a lot of dead stripers when I was fishing. Keep up the good work Knuckles!

We saw several big floaters and some dazed and confused stripers swimming around at the surface as well. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and a temporary deal. I am betting the TPWD is fully aware of the situation and watching it.

Knuckles is ready to go again, like to think there are still some of these big monsters swimming around over the next couple of weeks!
