The water is horrible, but the fishing is great! All the runoff hit the North End of Sabine Lake, but it has not slowed the fishing down. Not the Redfish, anyway. There are a ton of small Speckled Trout under the birds. A lot of birds, have been working pretty hard the last few weeks. As long as shrimp keep jumping out of the water, I think the fishing will be pretty good. With all the fresh water earlier in the year, it had a delayed reaction on the fishing. The shrimp started moving in the lake a lot later, and the fish do not seem to be leaving the shrimp?? The Flounder Run, should have already started, but may not start until December, if it keeps going like it has been. www.luckylindycharters.com
