with chances of rain I decided to stay close to home today, got on the water around 9am with trolling double minnow rigs being my plan of attack.didnt work out as I had planned .covered alot of water with only one keeper to show for it in the first few hours.there were balls of shad everywhere but the crappie didnt want meat bang just as I was about to call it a day I grabbed my jigging rod and dropped it down on the pile and THUMP

...and kept getting thumped for the next 30 or so drops....they were hammering blazin raisin thump chubby and blue/chart chubby that im not sure of the name(sprayed with slabslobber)

even the short fish were totally stuffed with shad

looks like ill be eatting good also, BFOD went 2.20 lbs food

I'm not sure if it made a difference but on the blazin raisin I had a small blade tied on and it out fished the fishing farmer 4-1

I appreciate that very much brother! Be patient with me right now, as I'm running my jig business off of the tailgate of my truck. It's been a tough fall, but I'm getting back into the swing of things.
