Thinking about grabbing some minnows if I can find some in the morning. Anyone know where on Grapevine to buy minnows? Does Twin Coves have them? That would be great to pull up to from the water and load up!!

Dove loop boat ramp or other ramps. You'll get a lot of various minnows from ghost minnows to red shiner. I've been catching a lot of shiners at Dove ramp west of it. It's rocky gravely on the west of the ramp. I have a 20 foot seine net I used to catch them.

Best place for minnows on GV is Yate's Corner Store on Kimball. Mac's will do but their minnows are expensive and inconsistent. Which Griff's never closed. The drought killed their business.

Shamrock just south of 1171 on 2499. Has a fish painted on the window next door to the snow cone stand. Closest place to Twin Coves.

The store at the Marina has not had minnows since the flood. They told me last weekend they probably won't get them again until next summer. Sounds like they are about to go into limited operation for the winter.
