I figured out I liked bass fishing but couldn't really understand why folks were so into it till today. Caught a couple 3-4 pounders and decided to go back to what I do best( crappie fishing ). Well that bit sucked and the sun was about to set so we pulled up the marker bouys and my buddy asked to go throw for some more bass before we left. Well we cruised back deep into a cove and for some reason I decided I'd put one of the lunker hunt frogs I bought just for giggles. Boy was that a good choice. Personal best by far and I'm hooked. I love me some bass fishing now. Special thanks to all the folks on here that gave me some helpful pointers a couple days ago when I asked for some bass pointers.

Beautiful bass and you caught it on a topwater bait. You're hooked, no doubt about it. Just in time for the Tackle Warehouse Black Friday sale too!!!

Oh yeah!!! I'm definitely addicted to the frog lol. I grabbed them just as kinda a side thought and believe it or not I grabbed the smallest ones thinking the fish I'd be catching would have a hard enough time getting ahold of them. Man was I wrong. Needless to say I'm gonna buy some bigger frogs and see what happens lol. My favorite thing about it is the weedlessness. I through that frog into a nasty nasty weed patch and that fish mauled it. She got snagged up in it at first but thank my lucky stars she worked out of it. I honestly thought I had hooked another huge drum like I had earlier on a red eyed shad rattle trap till I winched up by the boat and as soon as I saw a huge green flash I honestly freaked lol.

Donald it was my pleasure. I honestly wish sometimes I could still be serving but then again with all the changes that are happening to my beloved army I don't know if I'd really enjoy it anymore. Either way if God forbid another scuffle kicks off I'll undoubtedly be trying to get back in the mix. Till then I got a feeling I'll be out trying to hook up with a lot more bass.☺️

Lol, almost true.

Your wife doesn't really need a new washer & dryer. What she truly needs is a new rod & reel combo with a few new lures. Trust me on this, the look she gives you will be priceless! And hey, if she decides she doesn't really need that new rod & reel after all then you can just go ahead and keep it. azn

Welcome to the world of bass fishing, where you will never have enough rods and reels. And although you have enough baits for the rest of your life, there will always be a bait out there you will need.
