Gotta love it. Beats the last few years. Some of the DFW lakes are over full again. Bridgeport and Fork got some decent quantity as well. Neither are full but glad to have it. Fork is just under 1' low.

Not intended to be a this lake is better than that lake deal. I hope ALL lakes get as much water as possible.

I went over Tawakoni on 2 mile yesterday during a storm and it looked like the ocean......spawn will be great again and fishing should be great over the next few years....

The best thing about huge rains this late in the year is the fact that it won't all evaporate. This water will last until AT LEAST spring.

I keep having the intent to hit Tawakoni but my boat is at Fork and its hard to drag it back the other direction. Love me some Tawakoni and with the water up in the bushes I bet the flipping bite is good.

Mark, not trying to hijack this thread, but you are affiliated with Megabass, so have you tried the I Glide 135????

Yes I am. Yes I have. Love the 135, 185 and the 262T also. Great baits. Do you have one or are you looking into one? Luckily we have a few great local dealers that all carry it if so.

Looking at the 135. Megabass is so progressive. The magnetic system is genius.

It is a great feature. The 135 and 185 have it but the 262T does not. FYI the soft Megabass Magdraft swimbaits have the magnet as well.

I like the 135 a lot. Good all around size but I fish some lakes that have good to decent sized bass so the 185 probably gets more use. The 262T is the toad hunter but smaller fish hit it too. I like the GG Bass, Silver Salmon and Tarpon colors the best but the GLX Sunshine Gill is so stunning its almost too pretty to throw.

I know on Bridgeport these first couple of cool/cold fronts seem to help the smallmouth bite. Especially mid day to evening.

Caught about 2 foot so far and still coming in. I'll bet it will be in the 16 to 17 low range before its over.
That is a lot better than the 31 foot low we were this time last year.
Lots of flooded water going to have a good spawn.
