Just wanted to say, hope everyone is ok and safe with this crazy weather. Soon it will be some of the best fishing water out there.

I have been wanting to see what 2 inches of rain felt like in 20 mph winds while in the rig on the water. I had a river running from the front to the back!!! Lol! Got 4.25" in the gauge. Northeast side San Antonio Metro area. Lake Dunlap ramp is closed as well as Lake Placid. Lots of flooding taking place. Canyon Lake got over 8" of rain.

how long do yall usually wait to go back out on the water? I was thinking about hitting Granger if the rain stops for the weekend.

I went to fish the rising river in Riverside Park in Victoria this morning. Got there just in time to see them lock the gates and close the park down. River cresting tomorrow night so I won't be fishing till weekend and it will have to be bank fishing with the flow.
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.
