Are the lower units for this motor the same from 150hp-200hp? The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to locate a LU for a 200hp and a tff member has one but it's off of a 150hp. He said he thinks they are compatible but not sure. Thanks.

Yes. Some times you have to change the shift shaft on different year models. As long as the main shaft is same length. Be careful with the shift shaft. Be sure it is turned 6-6&1/2 rounds out from all in.

are they gear ratio's the same. I don't think they are.
