Fished a lot of hours out of 2 Tritons like that back in TExas. Good value, lots of storage.....just doesn't have the ride of a glass boat. But if you stay away from rough water no issues.

it's much more important than that!

Thanks for help. Steve I'll keep you in mind if I buy.Im not to far from Quitman. I really like the boat but the dealer is trying to nickel and dime me to death and acts like he doesn't care if he makes a sell or not. I may have to try something else

No experience with that boat but I do own a very similar Tracker pro 195 with the Merc 150 4 stroke on it. I have almost 100 hours now. It is an awesome engine, runs like a fine car and is quiet. I think you will be pleased with the 4 stroke Merc.

I have a tracker 195 with a 150 that steve also put a 6" jackplate on for me. boat runs awesome and handles well. Pretty much a tournament rigged aluminum boat. Runs 66 on GPS

Can you tell me more about the jackplate? What does it do for your boat vs no jackplate?

check this out it will help explain it to you.

I did it for hole shot and higher speeds also allows me to run in shallower water. There are many benefits, but you also have to keep in mind that moving weight backwards off the transom will effect the way the boat sits in the water.
