For you that have decked your boats and trailers out with lights. Certain brand y'all recommend? How many lights did you put on your deck is it bright enough? The under trailer lights are they powered by trailer lights? And advice is appreciated.

All you need is to buy a roll of led lights off of ebay. Cut to the size you want. Simple to install. On your deck you don't need much or it will be blinding and attract insects. Test at night before mounting. There is also someone on the forum that sells and installs them.

For the trailer, I'd want them wired with a switch so that I could use them only when desired.

I tied my trailer lights into the brake light and some into the running lights. They only work when your lights in your truck are on.

I also tied lights into the bow light (nav red & green) and they only come on when your switch is on. I got all of my lights off of ebay.

I also bought my LED lights off eBay. They have an IP rating such as IP65 which are good for water jets etc and IP68 are submergable. Unfortunately I figured this out after I what I think are IP65 and installed them. I am hoping they hold up. I used wire taps and tapped into the wires on the trailer. One thing I did and would suggest is putting double sided 3M tape on first then attach your lights to the tape. So far so good.
