Just bought my first Kayak yesterday a used Bass Pro Ascend. The swivel seat seems very stiff. I think it has nylon bearings/bushings. I want to lubricate it without damaging the bearings/bushings. Any recommendations? Can't wait to clean it up, reseal the hatches and get it out on the water.
I'd rather be fishing...

Lots of threads about this in RC forums--plastic and nylon gears in RC toys. Petroleum based lubricants can be harmful to plastic and nylon gears.
They tend to use either white lithium grease, teflon lube, and dry graphite powder.

Look for a Moly or PTFE based lube.

I went with a dry spray Teflon lube and it helped. Thanks for the input.
