So apparently 5 minutes after i hit the water the wind kicked up to "up to 35mph".... So how do i fix this?? Is there an aluminum filler? Ended up taking a chunk of the dock off too! Wind is NOT a fisherman's friend. My poor new boat, i hear it in the driveway..sobbing.

If those are cracks in the aluminum top cap, I'd see about getting them welded.

I'm hardcore, but there's a saying I like. There is a time to fish, & a time to dry the nets........ I went to Lowes today, and my visor flew off in the parking lot! Lol....I got it back though.

One of the advantages of aluminum. Just a scratch. Sand it, so no sharp edges. Character Mark.

Looks like im in the market for some killer decals! Although i kind of like the plastidip option too...it does have sharp edges so im going to have to sand it down a bit. I just dont want to screw up the paint job to much. Hell, at the rate im going my entire boat will be decaled soon!

Stick some Marine Goop in there and be done with it. Battle Scars never hurt anything.

I almost made the mistake of launching my boat at Jordan access Saturday just after the cold front came through. Your picture looks pretty rough but they were even bigger at Jordan at Ray Roberts. We ended up going to another ramp that wasn't near as bad. Try another spot next time perhaps. Sometimes we all learn the hard way. If it wasn't for my partner and some other people that decided not to chance it my dumb $&@ probably would have done a ton of damage to mine.
