I of course did not get paid for this review by anyone but I had to make a video on this suit because its that time of year for rain. I know I am not the only one that doesn't like to get while fishing because it just makes life miserable. Huk is a good suit as well but doesn't have the warranty like simms does.

Good review and I like the suit. Honest man when you said the price I said out loud "are you ****** kidding me?"

Great looking suit. Enjoy!

There should be no griping about the cost of boats when people are paying 1000 bucks for a rain suit. Bahahahaha

I can't afford one of those. I'll stick to my H2O variety that keeps me dry.
I'll just be that guy on the water that's too poor to really be able to fish!!

They are expensive but hopefully it's the only suit I'll have to buy for years. If that's the case then it'll work itself out

My h20 works great, 5 years old still going and I've fished in some bad stuff in it.

There are some really good suits out there that cost half of the simms price that are just as effective.
Simms are very nice but you don't need a corvette to go to the grocery store if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the review. You should have seen my wife's face when I told here about this suit AND what she countered with IF I were to get it last week. It was pretty comical. I have a couple of pieces of North Face I'm using right now and they were excellent over the weekend. The jacket is very nice but may need some bibs depending on heavier conditions. It's good to see Simms making noise in freshwater fishing. I have used their products fly fishing for a long time now.

Yeah, I'll run right out and get a set the day after Frogg Toggs quits making cheap shopping bag rainsuits.
Edit: That sounded kind of troll-ish. Thanks for the review. But $1,000 for a rain suit is way out of the realm of reason for a guy like me. But it's all a matter of perspective from an income and involvement standpoint.

Heck I got all you guys beat on price I use a Coleman pvc suit cost me 19.99 and I wear it at work when it rains aswell as fishing it's not very breathable, but it's effective at keeping me dry going on 2 years now. When it's starts leaking I'll head to wally world and buy another one.

But if you have the money to spend on the simms suit more power to you, just cost more than my graph and I know I spend alot more time using it then I do a rain suit.
