Had a good day on Lewisville lake. Weather was great and the 7-11 coffee and the bacon, egg and cheese biscuits were resting comfortably in our stomachs.

We caught a fair share of 9.5, 9.75, and 9 7/8 inch crappie, but we also caught some nice keepers ranging from 10.5 to 15 inches. My buddy caught the 15 inch hog! We ended up with 16 keepers. We shut it down at about 330pm.

Man life is good when have a good fishing day with a buddy! Thank you God!

Sorry guys, it would not let me upload the pictures, so I had to load it on Photobucket and then load it on the post. It can now be viewed on the post.

Wednesday we found them at 10 to 12 ft and some times a foot or 2 off the bottom. Dark body like jigs(purple and blue) with chartreuse skirts seemed to do the trick. Also the they seem to be more responsive with crappie nibbles on the hook as well.
