With being stuck at the home office all day yesterday and getting hammered with the Humminbird 1199 sale going on right now, I had to step away today and get some thump action. Well with a beautiful day and a 5 hour tour on LL and 90 fish with 14 at 12"-13" is tiring as one might imagine. All other fish were 9 3/4 to 10" fish. I only kept anything 12" or better. Did I say thump action....Well that was far from the truth as the LL fish continue with a light to no bite. At times you would simply raise your jig and you would have a fish on. Many times I would just let it sit on the bottom and they would just inhale it and just sit there. It seems the better fish are holding to the outside edge of the brush as well as a submerged tree I fished. I would simply pitch out the jig, let it go to the bottom and worm it back in. Once again the Wally Marshal Strike King Joker Black/Chart was the ticket.
One pole, One Jig...No Minnows or attractant. The little jig in the pic' is slap wore out.

Oh and the Pelicans are coming in as well....

I always fish with 1 pole, 1 jig, by my self that is! Nice catch anyways.

Probing brush for crappie is my game!

Those crappie have a nice "final resting place" on your towel. Did they get a memorial service too?
