2008 Ford F150. All my running lights on boat trailer work. When I put the truck in reverse I have no backup trailer/boat light which will not release my trailer breaks. It worked on my Skeeter but not on my Phoenix Trailer. I'm not sure where to start on my truck harness or where to start. Any help would be great
Thanks,

Do you have a 5 wire prong on your trailer?

Got a volt meter? You want to find the terminal that is hot only when the truck is in reverse.

If you have more than one truck, or a neighbor close by with one, hook the trailer to another truck. If it backs up, it's the reverse backup fuse and most trucks have one separate from the reverse light fuse. That means when you put the truck in reverse the back up lights work and most people assume the backup fuse is good. It's a different one than the lights.

Mine don't work well at all...I need to figure out what the best aftermarket set up would be for these myself.
I wanna see whats going on back there!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Just discovered my Skeeter trailer has 2 LEDS mounted low so you can see backing up. Simple fix and huge difference.
