Does anyone in here target this fish? I have caught them on a spinning rig and the fight was pretty awesome. I would think the flight on a fly rod would be even better.

I've caught a hand full on the fly. They seem to like black wooly buggers. I've got poppers with their teeth marks etched in the paint. I think they will hit anything that ends up in their face.

that one came from the river between lavon and hubbard. there use to be a good population of them in there. then a lot of that area dried up with the drought; got replenished with rain last spring. not sure how many survived the drought though.
