Usually I'm the boater, but this weekend we fished out of my partners boat. All of my tackle is soaked. The usual boxes are easy to dry out but I'm running into a problem. A lot of my soft plastic bags got wet. How do y'all dry these out? Or is it useless trying?

Not sure there would be a point to drying out the soft plastics.

Take them out of the bag and lay them out on a towel or even better a "sham wow" if you have them. They will dry out and be useful again. I had some many years ago that got moisture in them and turned lighter in color. A day of drying out and they were just fine.

Yep. If you don't dry them out they will bleach out.
Sounds like sound advice above to me.

Sounds like I will be pouring em out on some paper towels. Reason number 4 not to fish in a hurricane. Lol

Go ahead and lay out the other 3 for us.
Here are my guesses: 1. You get fairly wet 2. All your poo poo gets wet too. 3. The lake might be a little ruff.

Cuz little rough is an understatement. Then were the largest waves I've ever fished in. 52" shaft fortrex on 100%. A wave would roll over the nose the whole trolling motor bracket and head would go under. 8" of water in the floor at all times..... No more for this guy.
P.S. 150' of rope is not enough. And with two people on the back deck the nose will still spear waves.

Why fish out in it when you can beat the bank and win it right now...
