like I said in my frog post, Im new to bass fishing. What I need from yall is a list or breakdown or something to help me put the right baits on the right rods. I also need to make sure I have the right reel and right line on the right rod for that style of bait. Thanks

With the exception of the really heavy baits(swimbaits...) or the really light baits(dropshots...) just keep it simple. A 6'6" to 7' medium to medium heavy rod with a fast tip will take care of all the other applications. 12, 15 or 17 lb mono or fluorocarbon line and any quality 6:4 to 7:0 reel in the brand that you like will do the trick. Keep it simple. This setup can be used for nearly all bass fishing techniques. Crankbaits, C-rigg, T-rigg, spinnerbaits, topwaters, jigs..... Start with two or three of these setups then venture out as you start using different techniques or develop tastes for the type of setups you like. You can add and fine tune your list later. Caution: "look out for the tackle monkey"! :-) And did I mention:keep it simple? Good Luck!

That is a massive amount of info. But the standard amount of rods that will get the job done would be 5-7.
1. 7 spinning M/Fast action senko/wacky rig rod. Use 20# braid with a fluorocarbon leader 2. 7 MH/fast action spinnerbait/chaterbait rod/Moving bait rod 7:1 gear ratio reel 15# fluorocarbon 3. 7 MH/fast/Jig/T-rig rod 7:1 gear ratio reel 15-20# flurocarbon 4. 7 M/fast/top water/could also double as a lipless crank/square bill rod 6:1 ratio reel with 10-12# mono 5. 7 H/fast/pitching/flipping heavy cover Jigs/t-rigs etc. 7:1 ratio reel 50lb braid or 20# fluorocarbon. 6. 7 H/fast frog rod 7:1 ratio reel 50-65# braid. 7. 7 M/Moderate dedicated cranking rod. 5:1 or 6:1 ratio reel 12# flurocarbon
That will get you going and have you covered. I would figure out a budget and just start with a few of these. Quality over Quantity and can always add more later.

Thanks for the responses so far, btw I have 12 rods for bass already, just wanting to get set up correctly.
