What are you avid crappie guys / gals tying for 10 lb braid to 6 or 8 lb flouro, and what leader to jig knot.

I'm tying the uni / uni knot and a Palomar. My uni knots are holding much better than my palomar. Mostly tie those because they are the easiest to tie for me while on the water.

Most of the knot videos are tying much heavier lines. Want to hear what light liners have to say.

Also who is using a loop knot at the jig and what knot. Is the rapala loop knot the best to tie with flouro? I never have tied a strong loop knot so I quit tying them.

Opinions?

Starting at the 3:15 mark in this video. This is the knot I use.

I use the Huckabee knot. It's real simple and seems to be strong.

I've been using the Alberto Knot to join the braid to the flouro, appears to work equally well for both lighter and heavier weight lines. Have been using the Huckabee Loop to tie on the jig/s.

Always enjoy finding a better knot.....

Albright/ double surgeons loop or double clinch "depending on how light the leader is"...
