Hey there, I haven't seriously crappie fished in a few years. I used to go to the lynn creek barge 3 to 4 days a week. Back then, you could actually catch a few crappie. I know winter is coming up and lynn creek marina is only about 5 minutes from where I go to school. So, how has the fishing been? If it has not been good, then how has the fishing at hi view marina been? I am looking to get back into the swing of things this winter and spring ( I'm getting a little tired of bass fishing). I just need to figure out which barge I should spend my time on. Thanks

Thanks, I really like that place. Do they still have the monthly crappie tournament?

Haven't been to Lynn Creek But I have been to Hi View a Few times in the last couple of months Fishing had been good, little slow on the bite last week but good overall. I know the rain is probably going to throw them off next week But I'll be out there. Been catching on Minnows an a few on Jigs. HTH

Don't know about the marina, but the rain didn't affect the lake. Caught 10 in about 2 hrs this afternoon.

Yes sir. I posted a pic in another post. Got to the lake about 1:30 and it was dead calm with light rain. Fished until the wind started blowing about 15 mph. It was time to go then, as it started raining harder too. Left about 3:30. It was 11 I kept not 10. I've got to learn to hit my counter every time! LOL
