Good job Do ya'll ever eat em?? I heard they taste great but ya gotta eat em while its hot! If not, they become rubbery

Whats the difference between black and regular Alligator Gar other than color?

Love catching gar, its complete chaos
Whats the difference between black and regular Alligator Gar other than color? it can get crazy especialy with a double hook up  the only diffrence I can see is color. this streach of river holds the most black gar of any other part of the nueces river we have fished

I would enjoy fishing the Nueces. Fly rod to catch some gills and gear to catch gar.
