The wife and I took our buddy Chris fishing last Saturday morning. He hadn't ridden in a boat since he was a little kid, and we all had a great time. You would have thought we were on a roller coaster at Six Flags.
There wasn't much size, but the action was pretty steady. We attend First Baptist Garland with Chris and he is so quick to tell just about every stranger he meets across town about Jesus and what he went through so they can have eternal life. He is such a blessing and an encouragement.
We topped off the trip with a fantastic burger at Tiffany's at LF Marina, and a Pineapple slush w/jolly ranchers from Sonic on the way home.
I'm probably in trouble with his mamma for feeding him so much sugar!
Chris outfished us 33-0, w/ a dozen keeps! Man knows how to catch fish! Fishing 3-5' off the bottom in 30 FOW. Tossed out some range cubes, but fish were already there when we tied up. Chris had only fished w/ a cork before, but picked up the feel for bottom-fishing quickly.
