Wondering if anyone uses these...Im looking at the Amphibia line and the Costa line. Needless to say the floating aspect is a huge plus. Im wondering more about the performance of the Amphibia line

2 years ago they were the neatest thing since sliced bread. Now it's Costa. Kinda depends on who's promoting the product at the time.

Costa = Better Quality Amphibia = Save your butt technology
I have both and as far as the lenses go they both work generally the same. Costa does have an advantage in terms of quality in my opinion, but that comes along with a higher price. That said my amphibia glasses have fallen off several times trying to land fish and I was able to get them back no problem because that technology works. I have to wear retainers on my Costas.
It really comes down to how clumsy you are and how much money you want to spend. They both will perform fine in terms of polarization.

Amphibia's are the way to go. Costa's have just dumped more money into advertising and name build up. Amphibia's Customer Service is great. Sent in a pair to have the earpiece adjusted and received a new pair.

If you want a quality lens, you have to choose costa glass. Absolutely no comparison. Plus I think I'd rather buy my glasses from a company that doesn't need a Kickstarter page to keep itself afloat.....

Same with me, but I use the Amphibia's when fishing. No more losing my glasses to the lake!

I've had Costas, couple different types and I've had and still wear Amphibias. I prefer Amphibias. Lightwieght, IMO you can see in the water just as good with these as any others if not better and they look good which of course is most important! I've had mine a couple years probably....

I have a pair of Amphibias. They have served me well for almost two years. I am impressed almost every time out on the water and for daily use.
I do not have a pair of Costas, therefore I can't speak to them.

I've had both. Costas have way better lenses, are more durable as far as scratch resistance and construction. I've always worn keepers of some kind so the "floatation technology" isn't much of a draw.

You guys have smoked too much of that east Texas crack if you are comparing Costa and Amphibian.
If you want floating glasses ebay has then for 19.99. If you want fishing lenses buy costa. It's your eyes were talking about here...

from a company that doesn't need a Kickstarter page to keep itself afloat..... The kickstarter is kind of genius. They spent enough on that video to build a lot of frames, then bought a ton of ad space to promote the kickstarter video. But if you contribute, you automatically get a pair. So why not just.... sell the glasses?
