Just saw the five day Accuweather forecast for the San Antonio Metro area. From Wednesday till Saturday forecasters are saying 4 to 7 inches of RAIN with some areas getting 8". Flash flooding expected! Stay safe out there!

Saw the weather last night and the forecasters were saying this was going to be a pretty good rain event. If the Guadalupe floods again this will probably shut down the fall bite and the general bite for the rest of the year. Love getting the rain but hate the major flooding! Side Note: Winter forecast is supposed to be a WET ONE as well!

If it's going to do it, I hope the upstream Highland Lakes get some of it. It would be nice for Travis to go into winter at full pool sine we have lost a little of the water that we got in the last big rain.

When I saw the weather report this morning far West Texas (San Angelo) area, and the Big Ben are going to get a super dose. The water from San Angelo runs down to Buchanan and from Buchanan down forwards Austin. Also it looked like All of the hill country and south Texas are going to get soaked! We can use it.

San Antonio Weather Forecasters are saying Friday,Saturday, and Sunday will be a "Major Rain Event"! Two tropical depressions. One in the Gulf and the other coming from the Pacific out of Mexico. Company this with a Low Pressure cell hanging just west of Texas. Forecasters are saying 5 to 10" of rain can be expected. If major flooding occurs the bite on the Guadalupe River lakes and all of the local creeks will be greatly effected.

Just checked NOAA at 3:30PM today, Friday. They have a Toad Floater Warning out for areas east of a line from Mountain Home to Pearsall. Depending on how accurate they are on that line some lakes could get filled up quick ---
VERY HEAVY RAINS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT... ESPECIALLY OVER THE EASTERN TWO-THIRDS OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS. LARGE AREAS OF 5 TO 10 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY SUNDAY MORNING WITH A ISOLATED TOTALS OF 10 TO 15 INCHES POSSIBLE. ACROSS AREAS WEST OF A MOUNTAIN HOME TO PEARSALL LINE...HEAVY RAINS SHOULD BE LESS WIDESPREAD. WESTERN COUNTIES SHOULD EXPECT AREAS OF 1 TO 3 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS WITH ISOLATED TOTALS UP TO 6 INCHES. THE TIMING FOR HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO BE FROM EARLY SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free

I had about 8-9" in the orange Home depot bucket sitting on my deck. Not sure if that's an accurate way to get a rain amount though.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

Havent had heavy rain but a slow steady rain down here all morning. Maybe a little flooding will get the fish down here stirred up a bit
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.
