For those of you that are interested, the Fall Issue of KBFMAG is now live at the KBFMAG Website .
It has fresh new content on all kinds of techniques and places to fish from Texas Rigging Worms to Whitewater Crankbaiting. There are also two sections for readers to submit photos, the Big Bass Brag Board and Family Focus. Rob Milam's son is in the Family Focus section.

Give it a look if you have time. I'd be interested in your feedback.

I'll be there, and no problem. I thought the material and the writing was really good.

Great read - Enjoyed all the content and they layout is great. I understand that the article on the B.A.S.S slam was more of a "How to plan" article, but I would really like to read more of the story of the trip itself, must have been pretty epic.

Thanks for linking it here, I went back and read the last issue as well and the only other thing I can say is more please!

And the ocean is howling for the things that might have been...

Thanks Matt-F,

Shoot a message to Drew Haerer through Facebook. He can tell you all about it. It was a crazy trek for him.
And thanks for reading!

Good reading - thanks for making this available. I like the PFD editorial. I questioned an extremely well-known kayak fisherman about possibly wearing a PFD in his videos and got a smart*** response.

Keep up the good work.

Unfortunate behind the scenes fact: I received 78 photos for the Big Bass Brag Board. Only 12 were wearing PFDs.

When I caught my 10+ at Marine Creek this summer I was wearing my PFD, but when we took the pictures at the boat ramp I was on land and I didn't have my PFD on then. Would this be an acceptable photo?

If you are visibly on land it's not a problem. These were visibly on the water with no pfd. I won't slander anyone for making their own choice but I feel a responsibility, for those not making an informed decision, to not represent something in the magazine that could be potentially harmful. It's made it harder to get some pictures but it is too important to me to just let it go.
