Something with a copper base. Either copper without a mirror, or green or silver mirror 580. Both mirrors are copper based lenses. The sunrise lens is awesome for early boat runs, cloudy days or overcast conditions.

The new silver mirror was designed for sight fishing, but the green mirror is great for seeing them also. I guess id look through both lenses and see what your eye likes best.

Good luck on the purchase! I agree with the guys above, but I personally like the green mirror over the last few years over plain copper because I find they let me look all day with less eye fatigue. Hope you got or get a pair that doesn't let much light in from the bottom or sides- that helps a lot.

Amber green mirror no doubt. Try them on first so you can see which ones are tightest on the bottom, that way not as much light reflection coming in.

I'm still using 400 amber glass Fathoms and can see good. Is 580 green mirror that much better? I tried to find Fathom in that glass and couldn't.

Okie, I had those Amber 400 ones and lost them. They were great. I probably would not have bought another pair if I still had those. For me, all the amber/copper base costas allow equal clarity as long as light doesn't sneak in around my glasses. I kinda feel the green mirror 580 keeps my eyes from getting as tired, but I'm not sure how substantial that difference really is. Fathom is a good fit but I think my head outgrew them...literally.

580 is the important part. I prefer green.
