Early morning schooling around the humps landed us several under-sized Hybrids, Stripers and a few adult Hybrids. Then we targeted White Bass for the remainder of the day. Beautiful day on the lake, the fish seemed to have adjusted and the bite was much better after a few days of slower action. Four-person trip with Richie, Greg, John and Alex. First time fishing for Alex. They all mastered the Dennis Christian Mepps method and enjoyed some slabbing with Godfather slabs from Moes Tackleshop
I have lots of open dates. Give me a call or text to book a trip. 214-244-4791

Is the Dennis Mepps method where you count number of reel turn off the bottom?

Start out with 1 turn then let go to bottom then 2 and so on.

pretty sure thats it great way to find them off the bottom.

Best way is to raise rod tip up so lure comes off bottom then let it sink back down

just work the bottom till you get a hit, most fish are feeding on the dead shad from the school before

Moon Point is Fishboy Frank's secret spot, Larry. He pointed me to that spot once.

Nice post and report, Bry Fly.

Never heard of it.
