The CAST Northeast region fishes the lakes you mentioned. Lonnie and Kim McGuffey are the directors. They are great people and would love to have you fish with their region

I don't think CAST or TBC fish Athens. Or they have not in the past

There's been some questionable ones, but each and every time John has done the proper due diligence behind one of the pine trees and all has been good so far.

One word to the wise for John. Well actually two words. Adam's Apple. Y'all don't have that "no ask no tell" policy over there in the piney woods. Y'all stop and check everyones lower units to see if they have a prop or not before you let them launch?

I fished a couple of the cast tournies before , they were ran very well and we had a good time.

But there is no reason not to enter any team style tourney with your significant other if you are strong in your abilities.

I just won a team tourney with the woman sunbathing on the back deck fishing bye myself We had a good time on the water and I stroked the field wink

Cast is not having a northeast division next year. Look at the ark-tex division.

Take a look at the TBC East division. The lakes that are scheduled look like they might be what you are looking for. Also we will be cooking hotdogs or burgers at all the weighins. It's going to be a good time.

Yep... Yankhard and his MUCH better looking better half had high finishes in almost all the Rayburn Tourney's this year. Fishing against all the Rayburn hammers. They ain't skeered.

Don't limit yourself to just couples T's. A good option is Fishers of Men. Quite a few couples fish it and it's a great run trail. Reasonable entry fees, not as cut throat as the bigger trails, and good fellowship and dinner the night before. Easy to qualify for regionals and if you're lucky, or good, you can make it to the Nationals.

All the 2016 schedules may not be out but you can look at last years schedules to get an idea of where each division focuses it's events.
