A good fish broke me off right at the boat. $15.00, gone. A few minutes later I see something white a few inches under the water moving slowly towards the boat. As it passes it's my yellow magic in the fish's mouth! Grab for the net but too late. Guess he showed me!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Shows how sharp and sticky the hooks are. If you want to feel bad, go buy some of the Yellow Magic +1 from Japan, only about $20 plus shipping to get them, but man, do they work. Lots of people say the hooks are bad, but I have found you do NOT horse a fish with them, and they are okay for the most part, but many people replace them, anyway. I LIKE my hooks to be that sharp. I have landed 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, and even a couple of 8s on standard YM hooks, so I do NOT have a problem with the stock hooks. JMO. Hope this helps and go buy another one. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

it's hard to believe how many of them suckers are stuck on stumps in Lake Fork or floating in the scum on the banks after being broken off.
