Go out on a Saturday when there's a tournament and watch and learn.

That's a terrible idea. Every time Im on the lake when a tournament is there I see people running lots of places they shouldn't. In the past couple years I personally know two guys that tore up boats bad. The first one took $10,000 in fiberglass repair. The 2nd boat was 2 years old and the insurance company totaled it. Im leaving out brands but both boats were in the big 4 company's. But don't let that scare ya about running the lake. If ya can't see them their not there right?

There was a general idea map, you could call it posted on here a year ago or so that had the areas to stay out of for some reason I can't upload it to images on here I can email it to you or send it in text

Major pucker factor on that lake.... even the open areas have the occasional widow maker.

From what I have heard about Palestine, it may be the most dangerous lake in ETEX. I would launch as close as I could to where I wanted to fish and idle only on my first time there. Better safe than sorry.

North of the Villages has very little room for error! I would hire Tom Mayne or Eric Pottkotter for the day, JMO!
