Got a problem with my side scan on Gen 2 touch 12 when i have Side Scan pulled up the page scrolls really slow then stops and starts again real slow it also does it on down scan i have called Lowrance Tech support and they told me to do the newest 4.5 upgrade which i have done and also to do a hard reset which i will do this weekend when i get to lake i hope the upgrade corrects the problem but have my doubts and not sure about hard reset i did a soft reset this past weekend and it did not correct the problem, If any of you have experenced this problem please share was it took to correct it, Tech did say it may be the main processor going bad and i would have to send the unit in thank goodness its under warrenty

Had the same problem with mine at 5 months old. Do a hard reset then load the 4.5 update and it should fix it. It did mine. Remember to download all your waypoints before a hard reset. That will wipe out all your trails, waypoints, and and boat lanes you have loaded. Let me know if that doesn't fix it and I will give you a number to call.
