I checked the weather channel last night and it said South wind in single digits all day.
Soooo I figured great fishing day.
Got to ramp a bit before 8.
A little windy but it will slow down because TWC said single digits.
Started fishing and wind was getting stronger.
Checked TWC again - now its mid - high teens all day.
Would've gone to a different ramp or maybe not at all if i had an accurate foecast.
Oh well - the wind was my friend for about 2 hours then it got to where I couldn't control the boat, or the line so I gave up.
Ended with 14 keepers - needed some for a "fry" - and a lot of short fish.
Several 10.0001 inches that I passed on.
Fighting the wind plum tuckered me out. Y
Now I need a nap.

I went out yesterday and the wind was dead calm, fishing picked up as the sun went down. I ended the day at sundown with 10 keepers myself.

I couldn't hardly buy a hit with chartreuse or pink jigs, switched to white/glitter glacial color and I picked up about 6 keepers in a row.

About 10 minutes before the sun went down, I started accidentally picking up smalls, dropping my jig 3 feet in the water while I re-positioned over the brush. Unhook fish, throw jig in water, measure 9 inch fish, release 9 inch fish, lift another fish from water. Repeat.

That lake is getting fun.
