Any report or tips for sunshine lake thinking about going there Friday morning or early afternoon.

Thats one tough lake to crack. There are trophy size bass in that lake but they get that way by not being caught. I've personally caught two 13's out of it during the spawn but that is over twenty years of fishing it. Many years ago it was a trophy lake for a private sporting club but since it is now a public park it gets hammered. If your lucky and they are biting good you might get 6-7 1-2 pounders in about 6 hours of fishing. I'd fish the north end in the 14 foot channel by the big willow tree. There are a few stumps left there and I usually catch a few there. Good luck.

There are some monster flathead in there. Caught one last year that bottomed out my 50lb scale. Only caught 2 bass out there tho. One was about 6 the other pushing 7. Caught on live perch lol.
