Found a pro qualifier combo today at a pawn shop in great shape. I said what's your best price, she said $25.00 and I couldn't get money out fast enough. But the rod is an all star asc poppin 7'6" medium moderate. No clue what to use it for. Thanks for any input!

That rod is built for saltwater fishing. Mainly for touts and baitfish imitations on jig heads, corky's etc. 8-17 lb line. Completely different taper and parabolics than a freshwater rod.

Fouzman so I'm guessing it will be great for throwing a spook?

It's a little bit long for a spook imo, kev. I like a 6'6" rod for a spook and most topwaters. But yes, you can throw a spook on it. A lot of guys like longer, more limber rods in the salt. Cushions bone crushing strikes and runs from reds where you don't have to worry about brush and turning a fish, right away. Especially when wading.

If you are not fishing grass with your traps, should be oK. It may not have enough power to rip through though. I would use the AllStar for cranking.

You can use it to "whup" the kids when they get too far to reach, like with a willow switch.! Those rods typically are really limber and might even be too "whippy" even for Traps. You might use it with Braid but the backbone still might not even be enough.

If it's an ACL-PRM I'll give you your $25 bucks back for it, or trade you a bass rod for it.

I've got a 7'6'' medium falcon low rider. It's great for small baitfish imitations. You can chunk a small 2-3 inch swim bait on a light head a mile, even in the wind. Mainly what I use it for. Works good for smaller cranks in open water too. Anything from 4-12 foot divers. Definitely not enough backbone for a trap in grass. Way too long for top waters in my opinion. Give it t a try with some of your lighter baits. It may surprise you how much you like it.

That's a saltwater rod buddy.
I actually have 2 of the exact same Lexa rod you have. I use both of them for throwing small to medium sized cranks and in a pinch a few times, for a weightless worm rod. There's something about the bend and tip of that rod that allows me to cast a freaking mile. I really like them.
