I've heard about the TFO warranty since I started fly fishing about 5 years ago, but had my 1st opportunity to experience it myself after my last trip to LMF. Long story short, I broke the tip section of my rod, went online and followed their instructions, (I live in the Sherman/Gainesville area) sent my rod to them via UPS ground on Wednesday morning and had it back on Friday mid-morning ready to fish again!! Amazing turnaround!!!! Glad I bought a few TFO bass rods now......

That is good to hear. "Knock on wood", I haven't had that experience yet. I hope to buy my second TFO soon. I know that if I fish long enough I will one day be sending a rod in for replacement.

Hey sooner their fly rod warrantee is second to none but I looked at their conventional rods myself and the warranty is a little different on the conventional stuff. You might take a look at it.

The conventional rods do have a different warranty and I would continue to support them if they didn't have a warranty on the conventional rods based on the experience I had with my 8'9" 3wt last week....

Robert, you should grab one and use it. They are very good rods. I have 2 each of these and love them.

GTS C695-1 6'9" Medium Heavy MH 8-17 3/8 - 1.0 1 Fast
GTS C696-1 6'9" Heavy H 10-25 1/2 - 1 1/2 1 Fast

It is great. I have used the warranty also, I didn't expect it to be as others said. I was wrong. No questions or issues. I will support them. Rods are not cheap and when I spend my money it's great the company backs their product. Not to open up who makes best fly rods (tfo) but it has to be one of the best warranties out there.

They don't really have a store front. Wish they did. On line and local retailers

Thank you, yes I've seen their fly rods in store snd have one, just haven't ever seen casting rods or anything in a store. Would be nice to hold it and flex it before buying

They have a list of conventional rod dealers on their website. Just enter the state and a zip code. There are several listed in the DFW area. Hope this helps!
