Is there a better map available than the one that comes pre-loaded? When I bought it they said Lewisville was the only area lake not included but it's there just doesn't seem as good as others.

To view the current Navionics maps, go to the website and select WEB APP. There will be two map layers.
There is a circle at the lower left of the panel.
Click on it to change the color between grey and blue.
Grey---Nautical Charts is Navionics mapping
Blue---Sonar Charts is user generated HD mapping done from those uploading sonar logs.

You have to be zoomed to less than 1/2 mile to see the Sonar Charts contours.
Sonar Charts can be downloaded to a Hotmaps Platinum or Navionics+ card.

What you see is what you get with a updated map card. All new purchases include a year of Freshest Data Updates.

Well said Wayne.

To add, Navionics processes around 2000 tracks a week to be added to the Sonar Charts layer that Wayne spoke of, so it is important to take advantage of that 1 year free of updates.

My Navionics card didn't have Lewisville on it, but it is pretty old, got it when the hds gen1 came out. But my Lakemaster chip has it and is quite good..
