The crappie have turned on this last week. You can find them anywhere from 8ft to 26ft. Caught several over 15" most are 12-15" all fat slabs no throwbacks. Best lure for me has been a chrome 1 1/2" jigging spoon. They have been slamming it. Jigs been working also -electric chicken. They are fat and sassy right now. Brought home 19 last Thursday morning fished 3 hours and they all weighed together 33 lbs. Fish fry coming soon! Should have taken pic's.

Caught another 19 today, but had to hunt them down today. They are on the move again.

I'm jealous! Haven't been on that lake since I was in school down there back in the 80's. Caught lots of fish out of that pond!

Been a good week this week. Wed, ended up with 19 with total weight was 33lbs.
Thursday had a few small ones, 19 that ended up at 27lbs.
Today caught 20 that ended up at 24 lbs. Biggest of the week was 6 crappie 16".
Only had 3 throwbacks all week. Most were 13-15" solid fish. I left them biting!
