Think I'm gunna go out tomorrow morning. I'll be going for catfish on either lake lavon or grapevine. I hear the bite on grapevine is really good but I'm not sure about locations. If I go to lavon I'll be going to Brookdale park where I usually run into some. Let me know if y'all want to go out or have tips. Thanks

Was at Murrell this morning.. Wind blowing hard in my face made it hard to get casting distance.. Afternoon is def. a better time, let the sun warm the rocks and the biggin's come in closer so they are easier to reach.

What's yalls favorite rig for bank fishing for cats? Usually I just do a Santee rig but I've seen people do a three way swivel and have a hook off the side and a weight at the bottom to keep the bait suspended?

I baited 2 spots on GV Saturday and below you will find the coordinates. Both are reachable from the bank. I used a towsack with 10 lbs range cubes and they are marked with a Gatorade bottle. I fished the 2nd spot and caught 12 and missed several more in an hour. 4 keepers

Ended up going to Brookdale par this morning. Got out on the water about 9 had some trouble finding the shad but I caught a lot of 6-10 inch sand bass with my cast net. Finally found some shad and as soon as I rigged up my new rod and reel and got it in the water it went down. The only catch of the day about a 16" channel. Really windy today
