My first time on the lake wasn't too shabby, mainly scouted around. Beautiful day to be on the water. Fished from about noon to 5 & ate lunch in between with the wife lakeside at Primos. Had 5 bites and got 4 in the boat...all solid keepers up to 3lbs. The one I lost looked to go over 4 easy. All but one on crankbaits, squarebill & 6XD. Weird thing is not a single one jumped or fought like a "normal" bass. I could've sworn I was hooked up with catfish.
