I was fishing at Benbrook a month or so ago. I was fishing in some timber and I was catching fish. the wind was coming out of the south as it usually does that time of year. then the wind switched and started coming out of the north. the fished stopped biting and I didn't catch another fish. last Friday I went fishing at Benbrook and I guess previously the wind was coming out of the south. not positive about that but I think I am right. so Friday I had a chance to go fishing and I did. when I got there the wind was coming out of the north . did not even get a bite. I am not saying fish don't bite when the wind is from the north, but it seems when there is a sudden change like that it affects the fish on the negative side. now I am thinking if the wind is coming out of the north for a longer period of time (like a number of days) it doesn't affect the fish so much if any. any one have an opinion on this?

I did noticed that on Saturday when the wind was changing directions and the fish stopped biting for a little while. However I've been doing a lot damaged last Saturday. Once I found them it was game on. If the wind is under 10 mph I'd go regardless which direction. I just love being in the lake and enjoy the outdoor.
