Has anyone had success throwing a swimbait in off colored water ... visibility of about 2'?

Yes. Quite a bit actually. Fish don't know they are only supposed to bite them in clear water. Find some that put off some thump and you will get bit.

This is how I smoked them right after all the flooding, and water was nasty!

They bit well on 'em at Fork in the high, dirty water earlier this year.
