Everyone knows you can't catch Crappie off a pontoon but Guy, Rick and I gave it a try anyway. Since none of us wanted to show our best spots we mainly fished new found stuff. Amazing what you can find if you just turn on the side scan and search a bit. There was some disagreement over exactly how many keepers we caught since none were measured or kept. Rick said 50, I said 60 and Guy said 70 so we averaged it and agreeded on 60+. We also caught about 5 or 6 little ones for every keeper. Some as shallow as 3'.

All kidding aside the pontoon is fishing great.Lots of room and easy to handle. Guy said it's a little slow but so is he so it worked out OK.

We found one spot in 8' water (looked like a little stump that had a bit of brush around it) that produced at least 60 fish in 30 min. Many of them keepers. We were all three swinging fish in non stop.

Weather was great, cloudy, cool (cold) a little windy early but a great day on the water. banana
