Four, my dealer says the 4 stroke is running on all 6 cylinders in neutral as well as in gear. Is that incorrect?

The dealer is correct. No tricky valves.

Mine is a 2013 with 126 hours. I don't run mine hard that much. Normally cruise about 3,500-4,000rpm. But I do run it wide open for a good ways when the weather and lake conditions permit. I hear you need to run them wide open all the time and that you're not supposed to. I don't need to go every where wide open so I just run it hard when conditions are good for it...

The very first ones as with anything first marketed had some issues with water compression. The next generations have be spot on. I have had two. Great engines. As mentioned.
Break In
High speed transition early to seat rings
When it is cold, let them warmup before take, never a cold start.

Make sure on it or any engine that you have a Micron water filter on there.

Majority of the time, you only hear about 3rd party problems. People tell stories and blame the engines not always the service centers, owners, ect....
