Anyone ever fish this area? We are taking our kayaks down it on Saturday and I don't have a clue

Gulp Minnows nose hooked with circle hooks. Pitch close to fallen trees, behind rocks and deep holes. Also the Rapala tiny poppers are amazing on the Buffalo as well. These are the only 2 baits I take when I go, make sure to take a lot though. Catching a ton of smallmouth will deplete your baits rather fast. This will be the 1st fall I haven't gone in years and I miss it so bad. Oh and hang on tight!!

Been there about 10 times but never in fall, I'm jealous. I always pitch green pumpkin soft plastics (worms, grubs, tubes, craw imitators) wherever there are rocks. If you get the weight right, the current will naturally tumble your lure across the bottom. And don't forget to fish the current!! Your first thought may just be to fish the deep, slow holes. But alot of those fish will hide behind a rock in the moving water and ambush whatever floats by.
