Love the crappie reports when they say fishing is good on minnows and jigs. What else is there?

Love the crappie reports when they say fishing is good on minnows and jigs. What else is there? Kinda answered your own question. Of course its gonna list what is working. Its a simple concept. Maybe they can spice it up and say they are eating Lunker Punkers and Deps Slide Swimmers 250. I hear those are killer crappie baits too.

Depth , color etc, anything would be better than the usual report It is what it is. Its not a perfect science. A lot of info come from volunteers and what is received is what is published. Its meant to be a starting point and a baseline. It costs you nothing as well. A lot of people enjoy it and just as with most things there are some that don't. Just have to keep trying to get the best and most update info out for those that consider it useful.

Honestly I find the reports only true in the spring...they should just get rid of the advice, I've tried it before. Didn't work

Didn't we have the same question a few weeks ago? We did but it does not hurt to answer it again. Not everyone knows there is a search feature or how to use it. Speaking of, and don't take this the wrong way, Mark, but how do you use the search function? I've tried to figure it out many times, and I always end up using Google to find things in this forum. I'm not the only one. Is there an explainer somewhere? Seems like it should be easier to use or return more results.
