Hey guys!!

I have only fished Walter E LONG lake on a boat and was wondering where some good bank fishing spots are, to take a friend that is new at fishing? I just want to put him on his first bass or catfish-- Catch and release.

THANKS!!!

I found the Decker has too much hydrilla (grass) around the dock and shore.

I recommend East Metropolitan Park just outside of Manor, Tx They have 3 ponds The biggest one King fisher Pond is catch and release. The small one Tadpole Pond is also catch and release. The mid size one is Bullfrog and you can keep the catfish. During the stocking of Bullfrog my wife and I caught 9 one day and I caught 4 another day. They have grass carp to keep the grass down (you cannot keep) The parks are clean and bathrooms nearby. Bullfrog has a playground for kids.
