Anyone familiar with Caddo lake and how is the bass fishing this time of year?

I think Mark Perry was just there recently and did well if my memory is right. That said I think he does well everywhere he fishes grin

Not saying that you'll have the same luck but we were recently there. Water was down and the fishing was bad. The top water action was just not there either. To make things worse, I spun a hub and bent my prop shaft. The weather was nice, though.

I went 2 weekends ago ... it was tough fishing. We found a few fish. Maybe 3 overs out of the 5 or 6 we caught.

None came from pads or grassy area. It was a long run from Johnsons to find them.

I took the fam out last weekend. Lots of people riding. I saw very few fishing. Never picked up a rod or got to talk to anyone fishing.

Sorry about the bad luck Rayzor.

Its worth saying that Caddo is a place to respect. Idle if you get off the boat roads. Some back waters aren't deep enough to run as is right now.

Not everywhere. I get lucky a lot though. Thank goodness for dumb fish.
